It's so strange to see "Episode 1" on this header again- remember the 44 episodes of Season 10?! But it's about time for Degrassi: Now Or Never to kick off an entire year of spine-tingling drama (and the last year for the seniors!). Let's get it started with the rundown of tonight's season premiere- and share your thoughts with us in the comments! What'd you love? What'd you hate? We want to know!
Drew and Bianca seem like they’re working beautifully together as a couple, but out on the town, Bianca spots a mystery man named Anson. She blows him off, explaining to Drew that it’s just some mystery guy, but at Keke’s concert, he makes a surprise appearance. Bianca insists that things have changed and she has a boyfriend, despite the fact that Anson just got out of jail. Anson threatens to hurt Drew before offering to buy Bianca a drink. Just then, Drew shows up and yells at Bianca when he sees them together, despite the fact that she’s trying to tell him that Anson is dangerous.
Drew accuses Bianca of cheating on him with Anson, to which she responds, “pretty much!” Though Drew doesn’t believe anything she says at first, KC makes him realize that Bianca’s never lied to him before- so he sets out to find her in the middle of the night. When he does, she’s being attacked by Anson, and Drew throws him off of her. While the two fight, Bianca hits Anson over the head with a brick!
The next day, Bianca checks the paper and learns that Anson is dead. However, no one knows that they were involved, so all they have to do is keep it a secret- until Drew realizes that Bianca left her bracelet at the scene of the crime. In searching for it, they find a guy named  Vince, who has Bianca’ bracelet. He gives it back, but warns Drew that he has no idea what he’s getting into. He flashes a gun and promises payback.
At school, Drew begs Bianca to let him try and reason with Vince, and though she’s not too sure it’s a good idea, she agrees to let him try. That night, Drew explains everything, but Vince only agrees to make things even if he shoots someone. He even gives him a gun! After talking about it with Bianca, Drew approaches Dave’s dad and comes clean about absolutely everything, before being driven away.
Fiona just had her Spring Break trip to the Caribbean cancelled (due to a volcano), so Fiona is stuck slumming it with Holly J in an arts course. But to her surprise, she becomes obsessed with the nude model Charlie, who is both very pretty and very xxx. Holly J convinces her to talk to her after class, and Fiona actually gets a date out of the deal! Once Fiona gets over her nerves with dating a girl for the first time, the two really hit it off! Yeayyyyy! I love Farlie! Until Fiona gets a little too uncomfortable kissing her new girl… this can’t be good. Yet the next day, Charlie apologizes for moving too fast, and Fiona accepts- she just wants to be friends first.
Sav isn’t too happy about being single again since Holly J dumped him, but when Ali takes him out shopping, he is immediately lovestruck by a girl named Kiana. She invites him to the Sound Garden, where he’s shocked to discover that Kiana is actually Keke Palmer! Keke even calls Sav up on stage and sings to him in front of everyone! The morning after, Sav’s back in a bummy mood, realizing that it may be all over- he doesn’t even have her number. Alli convinces Sav to track her down- and when he does, they run away from Keke’s security for some down time. Keke begins to tell Sav how special he is, before being whisked away for the final time. Later that night, Keke video chats with Sav and sings him a new song. Not only is Sav into Keke, but he’s also happy that she took his mind off of Holly J.
SumOlogy: Degrassi is best when it's full of surprises, and tonight set the tone for what could be an intense, intense season!
